Former captain Steven Taylor has been left out of the squad due to his recent form struggles. Taylor, who was part of the T20I squad for the Netherlands matches, had been ‘rested’ after suffering an injury during the preceding ODI series. Nitish Kumar, the former Canada skipper who joined the USA earlier this year, has also been omitted. Despite a promising start with a notable 27-run knock against India, Kumar’s form has dipped significantly, averaging just 13 in his last seven innings since the World Cup.

Monank Patel will once again lead the team after recovering from a shoulder injury that kept him out of the T20I series in Namibia.
